Using cheap or free materials to make

Process and Tradition

April 08, 2023 in Updates

With technology whirling and changing all around me, I still employ traditional art making techniques using recycled or economical materials. My style and theme might change over time, and from project to project, but what remains constant is a folksy, home-made aesthetic. Hand-painted cardboard and hand-cut shapes slowly pieced together create my newest series of cardboard signs, clothing, quilts, and drawings, Somewhere Between Texas and Tulsa.

Have a Pleasant Day!
-Rae
